meet Coco Walsh

I grew up In Rhode Island, surrounded by my great aunt’s paintings. She was a prolific watercolor artist and although she died when I was 8, I've been deeply inspired by her art my entire life. And while her legacy and enormous body of work sparked my own creativity, it also unintentionally led me to believe that if you do something well, you must do it forever.

For years I felt ashamed of being good at many things but sticking to none—until I discovered the term multi-passionate (thank you Marie Forleo), which helped me see my creative range as a gift. Being diagnosed with ADHD at 39 further clarified how my busy, wildly creative mind works and gave me the understanding and permission to live in creative alignment.

Today, I channel that energy into Coco Walsh Creative Studio, where my work sits at the intersection of art, lettering, design, and storytelling. Whenever someone collaborates with me or buys a piece of my art, my deepest hope is they feel seen. That the creative identity we build together or the piece of artwork they purchase gives them the confidence, inspiration and courage to share their magic with the world.

My own creative process is rooted in trust. I’ve learned that when I nourish my Creative Self, ideas always arrive. A walk in the woods, a warm-up sketch, or even a moment of quiet helps tune my inner antenna and puts me into receiving mode.

Living in Casco, Maine has become one of my greatest teachers. With fifty lakes in a twenty-five mile radius, the Lakes Region keeps me grounded and awake. Hiking, biking, canoeing—or simply hanging a hammock beneath the trees—restores me in a way nothing else can. My senses switch on in the woods. That’s where ideas find me.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: everyone has a Creative Self. It’s part of what makes us uniquely human. When we nurture that part of us, we access a kind of resonance with the universe that feels undeniably magical. Ideas are always nearby, waiting for us to show up for them.

I love helping people tap into that magic—in their businesses, their homes, and their everyday lives. I love creating work that helps them feel seen, inspired, and fully, beautifully alive.
